Soul Vibe Smart Zikr Ring Wins HKEIA Electronic Industries Award 2025
The first smart wearable for Islamic daily prayer to receive industry recognition from the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association.
Soul Vibe Technology Limited, a Hong Kong-based smart wearables company, has been named a Winner at the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association (HKEIA) Electronic Industries Awards 2025 for the Soul Vibe Smart Zikr Ring.
It is the first wearable in the religious-practice category — smart devices designed specifically for Muslim daily worship — to receive industry recognition from the association, whose member companies represent Hong Kong's electronics manufacturing and design sector.
What the ring does
The Soul Vibe Smart Zikr Ring integrates three core functions into a compact ring form:
- Five daily prayer reminders — Salah vibration alerts, calculated by location, supporting major Madhab calculations
- Smart Tasbih / Zikr counter — automatic counting with daily, weekly, and monthly history
- Qibla direction guidance — built-in digital compass for the correct orientation toward Mecca, anywhere in the world
The ring is IPX7 waterproof — safe to wear during Wudu (ablution) — and runs seven days on a single charge. The companion app supports prayer groups, allowing users to share practice rhythms with family or community.
Why this matters
"Most wearable tech today is built around a Western health-tracking paradigm. It scores you. It judges you. We wanted a wearable that supports a billion-person devotional practice without scoring it — one that quietly counts what is already being done, and reminds when the schedule shifts. The award tells us we got something right."
The global Muslim population is approximately 1.9 billion people, and demand for culturally specific wearable technology has historically been served by either non-Muslim products that don't fit prayer-life requirements (waterproof during Wudu, accurate Qibla, group prayer support), or by under-built Muslim-market products lacking quality finish, software polish, or international supply chains.
Soul Vibe positions between those gaps. The Zikr Ring is designed in Hong Kong, manufactured in Shenzhen, and ships to 27 countries from zikrvibe.com — including UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

The company behind it
Soul Vibe Technology Limited 靈韻科技有限公司 is a Hong Kong company (BR 77002461-000-08-24-6). Beyond the Zikr Ring, the company maintains a broader wearables portfolio including the Soul Vibe Band G71 (advanced screenless smart band with lifestyle sensor data and daily trend summaries) and the Soul Vibe Ring X5 / X6 (titanium alloy smart rings with continuous wellness sensing).
The CEO, Wan Mo, founded the company after recognizing a structural absence in the Muslim wearable market — a category dominated either by non-targeted Western wearables or by under-built products from manufacturers without supply chain depth. Soul Vibe combines Shenzhen manufacturing infrastructure with Hong Kong brand positioning, targeting the global Muslim consumer rather than a regional one.
What's next
Following the HKEIA award and the launch of zikrvibe.com with international shipping live to 27 countries, the company is now expanding into B2B distribution partnerships across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the European Muslim diaspora markets. Distribution and reseller inquiries are welcome via soulvibeai@gmail.com.
The Soul Vibe app — supporting English, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, and Simplified Chinese — is in closed beta on Google Play, with iOS support via Progressive Web App.
